Who we are
Sprinkle of Happiness Holistic Creative Arts Factory CIC ("we", "us") is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact us at hello@sprinkleofhappiness.co.uk.
Our company registration number and registered office address are being confirmed and will be added here.
What we collect when you create an account
- Your name: the name you choose to display.
- Your email address.
- Your password. It is stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider. We never see it.
- Account records: when your account was created and updated, whether your email is verified, and your membership tier (Free).
- Security data that our authentication provider processes to keep accounts safe, such as sign-in times.
We do not ask for health information, details of personal crises, your date of birth or payment details when you create an account. Please don't include sensitive information in your display name.
Why we use it
- To provide your account and member dashboard (to perform our agreement with you).
- To send essential account emails, such as email verification and password reset (to perform our agreement with you).
- To keep accounts secure and prevent misuse (our legitimate interests).
We do not send marketing emails from your account. If we offer a newsletter in future, joining it will be optional and separate.
Who processes it for us
- Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) stores and secures member accounts on our behalf. Google may process data outside the UK under its contractual safeguards for international transfers.
- GitHub Pages hosts the website itself. No account data is stored there.
We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
- We keep your account data while your account is open.
- When you delete your account in My Account, your profile and login are deleted. We keep a minimal deletion record (your account ID and the time of deletion, with no name or email) so the deleted account cannot be recreated.
- If an account is never verified, it is kept until you ask us to delete it. We will review how long unverified accounts are kept.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or for a copy of it. You can delete your account yourself at any time in My Account, or email us. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
