LGBTQ+ at Sprinkle

A LGBTQ+ Safe Space

At Sprinkle of Happiness, you do not have to explain yourself before you are welcome.

This is a space for LGBTQ+ people who are questioning, proud, spiritual, creative, healing, joyful, navigating something difficult, or simply looking for community.

We hold space for the fullness of queer life: the dreams, the secrets, the faith, the family stories, the recovery, and the futures still waiting to be imagined.

Why we are an LGBTQ+ safe space

Inclusion is part of how we create, not an afterthought.

LGBTQ+ perspectives are intended to shape how Sprinkle of Happiness designs and facilitates its workshops, circles and community work. Groups are run with agreements around respect, consent, privacy and choice.

No space can promise perfect safety or confidentiality in every circumstance. What we can promise is the intention to listen, to learn, and to take care of one another.

  • People who are questioning
  • People who are closeted, or out to some and not others
  • People who are newly out
  • People navigating faith, culture and family alongside their identity
  • People holding many identities at once

You are not too much. You are not too complicated. You belong here.

Meet Kaan

Creativity, faith and belonging, held together.

Kaan's work brings writing, photography, spirituality and community together, grounded in lived experience. He believes people should not have to leave parts of themselves at the door: identity, faith, family history and creativity can all sit in the same room.

Workshop

Queer Dreams & Futures

What do you dream of when you allow yourself to imagine freely?

A creative workshop using journalling, reflection and gentle creative exercises to explore the dreams and futures that can open up beyond difficult past experiences.

  • What do I truly desire?
  • What future feels possible?
  • What have I been taught to want?
  • What would life look like if I believed I deserved joy?

Come as you are. Leave with more room to dream.
